DESCRIPTION:Information on everything you need to know to get you career started in Buckinghamshire and an opportunity to network with your peers.\nJoin us at our Homes for Ukraine Information and Recruitment event at The Gateway, Aylesbury on Monday 11th July. You can drop in any time between 2pm and 6pm.\nThis event is aimed at guests arriving from Ukraine and families hosting guests in their homes, but anyone is welcome.\nWe will have all the information needed to support those arriving in Buckinghamshire to get their career up an running in the Council and wider county.\nSome of the information that will be on offer includes:\n\nRecruitment: details of all our current vacancies and advice on how to apply. We’ll also have a translator on hand to help convert CVs into English if required, and colleagues from Pertemps to talk through agency opportunities.\nLearning and Development: speak to colleagues at the Council about the learning and development support available at the Council. Buckinghamshire Adults Learning will also be there to share information on apprenticeships and other courses to support with your learning.\nSchools: find out about the roles on offer within our schools across the county.\nServices: speak to colleagues from our Adults & Health and Communities services to find out more about al the things you need in place to get your career of the ground. We will also have a couple of our liaison officers on hand. Whether you need advice on signing up to a local GP, joining a local support group or opening a bank account, we want to help you get off to the right start.\nNetworking: catch up with other people going through the same process as you. You’re also welcome to bring your families, as we will have activities to occupy your little ones and opportunities to make connections with other attendees.\n\n \nThere is free parking at this event.\n
