Recently, our community had the honour of taking part in a very special and deeply moving workshop,
“Tapestry of Many Voices”.
It is a warm, heartfelt and meaningful project that brings people together through stories, creativity and shared experiences. The project was founded by Daria Titova (Ukraine) and Helena Atkin (Britain–Estonia), and it means so much to us to see people from different countries creating spaces of support for Ukrainians in England, Estonia and Ukraine.
At the beginning, there was a little nervousness and uncertainty, but very quickly all participants became so deeply engaged in the process that ideas began to flow naturally.
Each piece created was unique, yet they all carried something in common: our experiences, pain, love, strength and hope. Through creativity, we shared pieces of ourselves and once again felt each other’s support.
We believe that those who see these tapestries will be able to feel the soul of our people, our culture, our memories, and the journey we are going through. At the same time, they will also see the most important thing — despite everything, we continue to love, dream and move forward.
Thank you to everyone who was part of this important day ![]()
