4 year after full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Evening of remembrance. Slava Ukraini!🇺🇦

  • Post category:Information

Yesterday our community came together to mark 4 year of the event that forever changed the life of every Ukrainian.

It was an evening of remembrance, pain, and dignity, filled with faith in our victory. Our British friends were with us, and the presence and heartfelt words of Dr Krish Kandiah OBE became a true sign of support and human solidarity — something we deeply value in these challenging times.
The musical programme became a prayer without words. “Balada pro malvy” performed by the ensemble “Malvy”, the compositions “Bilya topoli” (Yurii Soroka and Olha Solonets), “Holosinnia” (Liudmyla Herasymiuk), “Oi, chyi to kin stoiit” (OlhaTerletska), and the melody “Znayty myr” (Bohdan Reshetylov) were a tribute to every son and daughter of Ukraine.

A special moment of the evening was the screening of the film “Da Vinci.” Addresses from producer Nazar Borushko and director Volodymyr Sydko helped us feel more deeply the story of a man who became a symbol of courage. This film is not just a chronicle — it is a reminder of the greatness of a spirit that cannot be broken.
During the event, we also raised donations for ukrainianchildrensos.org — an organisation supporting children in Ukraine affected by the war by providing humanitarian aid, psychological support, and essential assistance to families in difficult circumstances.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who shared this evening with us.

As long as we remember and support one another — Ukraine lives and fights. 🇺🇦🙏
